Rainbow Six: Extraction Storyline
In this game, players will be required to face the aliens named Archæans. Archæans are an evolved form of the parasite. In the game’s timeline, these parasites were first detected a few years ago in New Mexico. These parasites have since spread to three new regions New York, San Francisco, and Alaska. And have turned these zones into containment zones. This alien ecosystem is going through a continual evolution and thus has started to spread over different places, turning them into containment zones. The world needs to be saved from these alien creatures. An operator team of 1-3 players, which include the characters Ash, Mira, and Thermite, are assigned to fight these parasites. These three people form the Rainbow Exogenous Analysis and Containment Team (REACT) and will be facing these aliens in thrilling fights in dangerous containment zones. Extraction will have squad members from Rainbow Six Operators. There will be other operators coming from the previous installments in the franchise, including Pulse, Doc, Sledge, Alibi, Finka, Vigil, Hibana, Ela, and Lion have been confirmed officially so far. That’s not all, Ubisoft has also teased that there will be a total lineup of 18 Operators, each having their own specialty and gadgets for the full game.
As we said before, the world is looking at the 3 member team operators to save them from these parasites, and in Rainbow Six: Extraction, players will fight against this alien threat in the first-person co-op tactical action experience. Throughout the game, the players will be required to try different combinations of operators and formulate new strategies to face the Archæan threat spread across 12 maps set across four regions in the United States. In the trailer showcased by EA, we could see a popular breaching operator from Rainbow Six: Siege Yumiko “Hibana” Imagawa, being captured by the aliens. This means the players won’t be able to play as the missing operator, also known as the M.I.A. (Missing In Action) until they are rescued safely. So rescuing the M.I.A. will be quite a big challenge since operators are very much required in order to achieve progress in the game. And further towards the game, whether playing in solo or multiplayer mode, the players should make sure that their operators won’t be captured again and to be on M.I.A. The trailer also showcased the first look at one of the game co-op missions.
